Meet Ashley

Ashley’s Hair Design was established in Manotick in 2011 by owner and stylist Ashley Martin. Having grown up in the Manotick community, Ashley knew it was exactly where she wanted to put down roots and build her business.

Ashley’s love of hair began long before opening her own salon. From her years in competitive dance, at Denise Smith Dance Studio, to time spent visiting her aunt’s salon, The Wright Cut, creativity and hair design were always a part of her life. She began her professional career in the hair industry in 2004 and has continued to grow her expertise ever since.

Today, Ashley brings more than 20 years of experience behind the chair, with a particular passion for hair extensions and working with fine and thinning hair. She also has extensive experience with Goldwell hair colour, allowing her to customize both colour and extensions to create natural, seamless results.

Ashley’s Hair Design is intentionally different from a traditional busy salon. Each appointment is private and one-on-one, giving Ashley the time to truly focus on her client, their hair and what they hope to achieve.
